507X

          We started from scratch to develop the 507X. We wanted to give our extended range players a feature-packed, great-sounding 7 string. In developing this instrument, we focused on the feel of the neck, increased access to the high frets, and enhanced sonic options. Together, these priorities produced a 7-string that sounds terrific and feels natural and intuitive.

          You will love the sound and the sonic options on the 507X. We used specially-voiced Rockfield SW7s and then expanded the tone options with our Great 8 wiring mod. Use the provided push-pull pots to transition from the full throat sound of these humbuckers to a single coil classic tone.
 
          The 507X brings everything to the table in terms of feel and performance and looks like a rock star doing it with a Black Cherry Burst finish.

     Great 8 Mod

          The Great 8 electronics mod is one of our most demanded mods. With this mod we double the sonic spectrum of our two-humbucker instruments. You still have the full powered tone of each humbucker and the traditional settings to give you neck, bridge or both. With Great 8 we add two push-pull switches to the volume and tone knobs, that when pulled up one coil of the humbucker is disengaged giving you a cleaner single coil tone.
